“Take your needle, my child, and work at your pattern; it will come out a rose by and by. Life is like that – one stitch at a time taken patiently and the pattern will come out all right like the embroidery.” — Oliver Wendell Holmes

Author (how cool that I can finally honestly claim that!), quilter, pattern designer, and manic crafter. I love anything beat up, showing its wrinkles, worn down by time. Wife to long-suffering Ben since 1976, mother to amazing kids--Charissa and Geoff. Love traveling and discovering prim/antique/quilt shops along the way and I love spending time at home surrounded by my favourite things.
Wonderful saying to incorporate into a quilt. Happy Thanksgiving!
